Story & Atmosphere
Tuesdays and Fridays Bosques is a charming bakery and coffee shop nestled in the serene neighborhood of Bosques del Prado Norte in Aguascalientes, Mexico. This hidden gem invites you to experience a peaceful retreat where the aroma of freshly baked breads and quality coffee fills the air. From the moment you step inside, the warm and friendly service sets the tone for a relaxed visit, whether you come alone or with friends.
The true highlight of Tuesdays and Fridays Bosques lies in its devotion to authentic, artisanal bread. For those who appreciate real bread without the sugar overload common in many Mexican offerings, this bakery is a haven. Their sourdough variations are crafted with care, delivering complex flavors and a perfect crust that satisfies even the most discerning bread lovers. The multigrain bread sings with a harmonious blend of textures, and their baguettes are delightfully crusty and fresh, echoing the traditions of European baking, much appreciated by customers from diverse backgrounds.
Complementing the bread selection is an impressive coffee program. Coffee enthusiasts will find joy in their brewing methods, including Chemex and French press options rarely found in local cafes. Signature beverages like the Chai Latte and Latte Lavanda add an inventive twist, balancing spice and floral notes with silky milk—a treat after savoring a warm croissant or a slice of their daily pastries.
Though some recent reviews mention slight dips in beverage quality, the consistent excellence of their baked goods and the fair pricing make Tuesdays and Fridays Bosques a standout destination. Its intimate setting, with limited seating, encourages a quiet, intimate atmosphere, perfect for lingering over a slow meal or an aromatic cup of coffee. This is a place where tradition meets quality, and where every bite tells a story of passion for bread and coffee craft.
“ The beverages used to be good but have lowered their quality recently. There are many delicious breads and pastries but they aren’t something you’d think about later. ”
“ Excellent place. Tasty bread and great coffee. One of the few places in town where you can get a chemex or French press breww ”
“ Nice place to have a quiet meal or drink, customer service is decent and friendly; bread is delicious and fresh ”
“ As an Austrian who‘s culture is based on bread I am more than happy to have Tuesdays and Fridays! Sourdough variations are amazing, Multigrain is just perfect and the Baguettes are delicious. If you are in need of real bread without sugar (unlike bolillos) then this is the place to go! Prices are absolutely fair for the quality and product! My only problem is that every second time I‘m buying the Baguette it is burned and just hard as a stone.. That is the only thing I would love to be changed. Please try to watch out for the Baguettes… ”
“ The food and bread is amazing, delicious and the place is nice for a relax time alone or with friends. The only bad thing is that they close a little bit early than what it says. ”
